Connect thecable be-tween the programming unit and a smart- house module type B..5 keys provide the means of operating the BGP-COD-BAT: two keys are used for reading and programming, two keys for changing Groups and Channels and one key for selecting the desired Input/Output.The current coding is displayed by4 x 8 LEDs. The top row of LEDs displays the selected input or out- put. The two middle rows display the current channel group, while the bottom row displays the cur- rent channel code.Low battery indicationWhen battery is low, the In/Out row of LEDs will roll centerwards in an eye-catching manner.WarningWhen using the BGP-COD-BAT you must connect the cable to the BGP-COD-BAT before connecting the cable to any smart-house mod- ule that is to be coded. Even so, the cable must first be removedfrom the smart-house module before disconnecting it from the BGP-COD-BAT.Without observing these precau- tions you may destroy the chip inside the smart-house module through static discharges.CautionTo ensure long battery life, always remember to remove the cable from the smart-house modules.
